Finally, the haunting sweeping drama we’ve been waiting for. Sixteen years is a long time to remain on the edge of your seat. In an instant, SOALW (aka RSX’s therapy record) rewards devotees left lusting for more, for so long. This album’s lushly evocative writing, arrangement & production echo earlier brilliance on a surprising level. Everything abt this record, from pre-release teasers to actual release supported w live-feed performance to follow-up merchandising, everything(!) has been incredibly well planned/thought out. It’s been mad fun for everyone along for the ride. And the SOALW collection releases have been amazing. With so much going on, this album reminds RS’s creations, musically & visually are as moving/relevant today as ever (I got the BLOOD RED MOON EDITION: 2XLP WITH INSTRUMENTALS)(Hell yes). Forty-five+ years on, SOALW establishes Robert Smith the composer as a British Cultural asset.

So fresheshing to find a new masterpiece when music seems to be so convoluted these days. Tenderly moving to the depths of the heart! Deeply moving in a reflective, sad, but much needed cathartic way!

excellent quality all around -- record plays great, sounds wonderful, and the red highlights added to the cover art give it an added dimension I think it needed -- mainly purchased for the instrumental lp which I am partial to especially with the musical style delivered here -- not my favorite Cure music but I appreciate a band that continues to move forward which Mr. Smith and Co. accomplish here -- I'm sure my opinion of the music will evolve with repeated plays.

Up to this moment I have ordered most of the new Cure's "SONGS OF A LOST WORLD" various vinyl LP's offerings... This is quite an amazing collection of a long awaiting new musical material by Robert and his amazing band members. The music here differs from most of the Cure's other previous happy and cheerful albums, in terms of becoming privately personal and poetically performed. I greatly appreciate and love both the live, as well as the instrumental versions too ! Cheers !

This album is everything I needed, thank you guys

An excellent variant of an absolutely perfect album. It offers a unique perspective, spotlighting the masterful song writing and arrangements, allowing you to focus on the band working together as a cohesive unit. The only thing I’m left wanting would be a digital version for when I’m not at home with access to my turntable. The vibrant red LP is also quite eye catching.

I do like the quality of the overall product. The selection of paper for the album sleeve is nice as is the vibrant color red of the vinyl. I haven't played the LP yet.

If you like The Cure you'll love this LP. I have always been moved by the melancholy sound, and the instrumentals capture it soooo well. I was hooked by the Alone single; the sound, the words, and Robert's hynotizing voice, but the Warsong instrumental really does it for me. That's the track I'll use to introduce others to what I love about The Cure.

Blood Red is beautiful vinyl. Cure fan since A Forest was released as a single. New LP is simply brilliant. May be the best Cure LP to date. Sensitive emotional gripping songs beginning to end. Move over boys there’s a new rock star in town. Thank you Robert. Happy Christmas
